1. Red Bags and Chocolate Éclairs
My initial instinct told me this was not going to be the relaxing, stress-free vacation I had imagined. My daughter Mallorie had been living and attending college in Salamanca, Spain for the last 6 months. I was visiting her during Easter vacation, looking forward to time alone with my oldest daughter – a rare commodity considering I had two younger daughters at home. Prior to my arrival, Mallorie had researched travel to Paris online and asked, no pleaded, to have the opportunity to see Paris while she was still living in Spain. Her argument was that the travel expenses from Spain to France would be much less than from the U.S. at some future date.

3. Vaya Con Dios! A Quest for Vegan Food in Spain
Like the Americans, the Spaniards love their meat and dairy. Con mucho gusto, they consume ducks, sheep, cattle, chicken, pork, and seafood. Spain is an integral part of the Mediterranean cuisine touted for its taste, variety, nutritional completeness, and health benefits. The Mediterranean diet centers around wheat, rice and legumes, greens and vegetables, cheese and yogurt, fish, meat, and eggs, garlic, olive oil, and fruit. It is laced with delicious wines from the grapevines of fertile hills and valleys. Although Spanish cuisine in particular is renowned for its quality and variety, these delights are targeted for the palate of carnivores.

4. Spain: An Overview
Spain is a country with a rich, colourful and diverse history, a land of many varied regions and a people who are proud and welcoming. For many first-time visitors to Spain, the expectations are of frequently used and evocative media images of sangria, sombreros and bullfights. While all of these play a part within traditional Spanish culture, there is much more that makes modern Spain a progressive, diverse and cosmopolitan society.

5. Buying a Property in Spain
Spain is a country with plentiful choices for the property investor. The best location in which to invest will depend on a number of factors, the importance of which will vary from individual to individual.

6. Trinidad - A Little Slower, A Little Warmer, A Little More Human
After five years of being back at school and working three jobs, I felt my life had lost all meaning when finally divorce left me financially and emotionally destroyed. I had honestly given up, but heck, if I was going to die it wasn’t going to be in busy San Francisco with people rushing 24/7, it was going to be on a tropical island.

7. Study Romance (and Spanish) Abroad
Studying language in Spain is great for learning Spanish, but even better for dabbling in romance. If you're going to cross the Atlantic, make your trip as memorable as possible. Here’s my take on how to find someone special while cruising through España. Great Options Lead to Great Choices Any time of year, Spain is teeming with beautiful people. Spanish men have that charming Mediterranean aura shared by the Greeks and Italians. Spanish women are truly in a league of their own -- breaking hearts the world over. The tourists that come from Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands are often as attractive as the Spaniards. Even the Americans who end up in Spain are good-looking relative to the homeland.

8. Spain - The Kingdom of Spain
Spain's unique geography yields an incredible landscape with many fascinating features. Spain is the largest sovereign state of Europe's Iberian Peninsula. Its borders consist of the Mediterranean on the east and south, and Portugal on the west. The Atlantic Ocean touches the south, west and north boundaries. France also shares the northern limits. Traveling to this coveted region of Europe is more affordable now than ever before.

9. Pamplona: Running of the Bulls
I was 18 years old when I made the decision to take the summer off before entering what I imagined to be four years of incarceration in university, and thus set out in search of an adventure so compelling, it would sustain me through the tedious and interminable life of a student. My inspiration to make the journey stemmed from my father, who as a poet, writer, and avid traveler, had instilled in me a burning desire to explore the vagarious, exotic world of a rover.

10. Coming to Spain: Part 2
As a U.S. citizen living in Spain, I can tell you that people here are just too social and friendly to let a chance at positive interaction pass by because of something as unimportant as someone's nationality. This might not (actually I'm pretty sure it doesn't) hold true in all other European countries, but then again, you really can't compare Spain to any other country in the E.U.
